Cathy Glass is the mother of three children, two birth children and one adopted, and lives in England. Inspiration for her writing comes from children that she has fostered over the last 25 years as a foster carer. Cathy is a level 3 carer, also known as a specialist foster carer, and is in recognition of her experience and qualifications which means that she is usually asked to care for children that have complex needs or very challenging behavior. 

For our discussion in September, the 1st Read Book Club invites you to read any title by Cathy Glass. The 1st Reads Book Club will meet on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 2 pm at the Macks Creek Library. The 1st Reads Book Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 2 pm.
