Halloween Costume Contest for all ages
During all of October, the Camdenton Library invites you to wear your Halloween costume to the Library, and the staff will take your picture!
The contest will feature four age groups: birth – 5; ages 6 – 11; ages 12 – 18; and 19+.
Costumes must be family-friendly; no explicit costumes.
Costumes must not be offensive or inappropriate or include religious or political themes.
Employees, their children, and board members of CCLD may participate but are ineligible to win any prizes.
Patrons can vote once per visit for their favorites. Voting will take place November 1 – 5. One person from each age group will win. We will announce the winners on November 8.
Pumpkin Decorating Contest
We invite you to participate in our Pumpkin Decorating Contest at the Camdenton Library. Submissions will be accepted all of October, starting October 1. Download and print your submission forms, or you may pick one up at the Camdenton Front Desk.
Rules:
Decorate a pumpkin; any size is fine.
No carving or puncturing of the pumpkin. All rotting pumpkins will have their picture taken, and we will throw the physical pumpkin out.
Judging will be in four age groups. Ages 1 -5; Ages 6 -11; Ages 12 -18; and Adults 19+
DO NOT put your name on your pumpkin. Library staff will assign your pumpkin a number when you bring it in.

Climax Springs Library
Halloween Costume Contest for Adults
The Climax Springs Library will host a Halloween Costume Contest for Adults (19+) during the week of October 25 – 29 during business hours.
Those who wear their costume to the Library will have their picture taken.
Patrons can vote for their favorite costume during November 1 -5.
We will announce the winner on November 8.
