IMLS Mini-Grant Awarded – February 2020

This February, the Camden County Library District was awarded a grant to replace the literacy stations at the Camdenton and Osage Beach branches.  The library was fortunate to be awarded the grant by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).  The new literacy stations will include over 4,000 activities and includes Bilingual Spanish.  The new literacy stations will help provide vital literacy resources for our growing patrons.

The Institutue of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) is the primary source of federal support for the nation’s libraries and museums.  We advance, support, and empower America’s museums, libraries, and related organizations through grantmaking, research, and policy development.  Our vision is a nation where museums and libraries work together to transform the lives of individuals and communities.  To learn more, visit www.imls.gov and follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services 2020-LBE9-TMG19CN9-9700
