The Camdenton & Osage Beach Libraries are a Designated U.S. Department of State Passport Acceptance Facility
Processing Times for customers who apply on or after December 18, 2023:
- Routine Service: 6 – 8 weeks
- Expedited Service: 2 – 3 weeks
Processing times only include the time the application is at one of the passport agencies or centers and do not include mailing times, which may vary across the country.
The Camdenton Library is located at 89 Rodeo Rd, Camdenton, MO 65020, and accepts applications by appointment. To make an appointment, please call (573) 346 – 5954. The Osage Beach Library is located at 1064 Gutridge Lane, Osage Beach, MO 65052, and accepts applications by appointment. To make an appointment, please call (573)348-3282. A Friendly Reminder: The Camdenton and Osage Beach Libraries handle applications for NEW passports only.

The Camdenton and Osage Beach Libraries accept money orders or checks (i.e., personal, certified, cashier’s, or traveler’s) payable to the “U.S. Department of State,” for the application fee. (See below for the execution fee). We cannot accept cash or credit/debit cards. Fees for this service have been set by the State Department and are listed below, along with hours of acceptance.
Neither the Camdenton nor Osage Beach Libraries offer passport photo services. You can obtain a passport photo from either Walmart or Walgreens.

| File Search Fee | A file search is necessary when an applicant is unable to present evidence of U.S. citizenship or verification of a previously issued U.S. Passport or Consular Report of Birth Abroad. Applicant must submit Form DS-11 and a written request for a file search. |
